COLD

Cold.

The gull mouths iron,

called

the coat’s curl liar.

with her hoarfrost diction

and Trojan effigy

plucks the chicken,

and you – my wicked friends,

speak her spittle

from all your ends

icicles,

jeweled ─ that first syllable

hidden, though derivable.
