Simone Considers the Future

Simone Considers the Future
Chloe Bryan

Simone has a small gilt mouse in her pocket.

Her pocket the size of a woman’s

pocket. It can squeeze all on its own. Simone

has two lovers one is a doctor one is an

escapade. You’ll never guess who owns

a copper cup. Kiss kiss the trophy, says Simone.

Take me to Moscow on a mule, for

there is nothing for us here. The cost of Panko

has skyrocketed. In terms of coatings

only wool remains. What’s more. In the future

everything sublimates into an irksome

concert featuring G. Love and Special Sauce.

Attendees sway like cattails w/ blunts

poking out of the cattails. Historicity

goes the way of the great auk. Simone is flightless

as we have previously established. She cracks the

mouse trying to free it from her pant.

It is not, she observes, a secret golden egg.
