The Soul is the Body’s Faith
There is no sharing of souls between us.
The body spans long and wide
where laden thorn-thick
are two trees of plum.
The body only connects us to each other
as much as the myth of the soul.
My philosophy’s primary truth,
its primary knowledge—
this body, mine and yours.
